Spring 2005 marked the debut collection from Jane Bolinger Cohen, designer of JANE BOLINGER Couture Handbags. Hallmarks of this upscale accessory collection include the use of premium quality exotic skins and leathers, rich hardware, keen attention to detail and embellishment in unexpected places.

Growing up in Texas, Jane Cohen learned the fine points of fashion from her Grandmother, a master seamstress. Together they rolled bolts of fabric onto the living room floor and cut the designs sketched by Jane. These initial creations laid the groundwork for a lifelong love of seeing a creative idea through from start to finish. “I love nothing more than taking an idea, developing it, then seeing it realized….from the imagination, to paper and then to product,” says Jane.

Cohen spent some time working in interior design in New York City but her passion has always been for fashion. She started making accessories as gifts for friends, honing her skills and putting her gift of personalizing trends to work. It wasn’t long before she began to dream of developing a true accessory collection under her own name.

Today, Jane envisions a true, modern sophisticate when designing the JANE BOLINGER collection and draws endless inspiration from the inherent strength of women. Her designs reflect the passion and joy she derives from her own life, and they touch upon a universal appreciation for luxury, quality and beauty.

Key styles in the Spring collection include the signature JANE BOLINGER ‘bean’ bag in sumptuous leathers, silks and exotic skins, as well as chic shoulder bags in python and lizard with gold snake closure and ultra-sophisticated frame purses in crocodile, ostrich, leather and much more.

Color plays an important role in every JANE BOLINGER offering. Her palette runs the gamut from white, pale pink, soft blue, peach, lime green and lavender to red, turquoise, gold and many more.

Retail prices for the JANE BOLINGER collection range from $500 to $4,000.
